Q was going to be for Quack but due to lack of salvation on the part of the computer, it is now for...

Quiet...something we so seldom hear
There is always the hum of the computer
The ringing of the phone
The various appliances and technological gadgets making their sounds
If there was Quiet...we would start in alarm and wonder what was wrong?
What had broken? Did the power go out!?

Unless we go camping...and then there is the sound of
the river
the wind
the bugs
the bigfoot stalking you because you can't hear over the

sound of the boombox your husband brings along!

Always sound, so seldom Quiet

and I was going to show you pictures of ducks...

ducks make a lot of noise

  1. Hi! Thanks for coming over and visiting me this morning. Quiet is a blessing, but I suppose it is all relative.

I enjoyed hearing about Quartz Creek and your Grandma's butter churning expeditions. Are you in Oregon?

Best of luck for the rest of A-Z. I've enjoyed scrolling through your posts.

    Kathy M.

    1. yes, in Astoria. We met the morning you were checking out of the hotel and your husband told me about your interest in history. Sometime I will share my old pictures with you...when I get our printer hooked back up.Thanks!

  2. Nice post, very true. Thanks for stopping by my blog on the challenge.

  3. i love the randomness of this.:)
    Happy A-Zing!

    1. Thanks! I like that...Happy A-Zing...but I want to pronounce it A Zing...

  4. Yup, fer sure I'd be accidentally dropping Hubby's boombox in the river next camping trip. You could look all innocent, like Erkle, and say, "Did I do THAT?"

    1. Oh, he always has to have some noise around. To me, the object of camping is to get away from electronic devices. Thanks for stopping by!

  5. I can never understand people who have TVs when they go camping. OK birds make a noise but I'd much rather hear them.
