k is for kaleidoscope

Love kaleidoscopes. We had one as a kid and I think we have a couple now.

So much fun to look through.

Kaleidoscopes are based on the use of a number of mirrors which reflect and create the designs
inside the kaleidoscope. They can be in different shapes and made of different materials.


Sir William Brewster is credited with inventing the kaleidoscope.
He patented it, but due to an error in his patent, other people were able to copy
his design. Must be accurate with those patent forms!
